Your responsibilities
- Advising on and managing our clients’ property insurance portfolio (excluding motor) in collaboration with the field sales force
- Identifying and assessing the risks of specific types of business
- Preparing and conducting tenders and negotiating specific details with the risk carriers
- Developing individual wordings / framework agreements with the risk carriers
- Placing coverages domestically and internationally
- Correspondence with customers and insurers as well as processing the corresponding documentation
- Processing, checking and settling claims
What you should bring?
- Completed vocational training as an insurance salesman (f/m/d) or insurance and finance salesman (f/m) or an equivalent qualification or in-depth experience in this field
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry – at an insurance broker or an insurance company
- Knowledge of commercial / industrial insurance lines (e.g. fire/FBU, liability, marine or technical insurance)
- Ability to identify and place risks in your area of expertise
- Enthusiasm and joy in learning new things
- Communication skills
- Good knowledge of English would be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Team spirit, loyalty, reliability and discretion
