Your tasks
- Collaboration and support of reinsurance brokers for broking activities, lines of business or markets and clients, analytics, design of coverage concepts and brokerage
- Support in current projects from various business areas: Market and insurance portfolio analyses, development of innovative, data-driven tools and insurance products, e.g. against natural hazards
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and market representatives, i.e. underwriters and other brokers, by continuously developing and expanding your knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance market, trends and cycles
- Active promotion of brokerage, marketing and sales activities in accordance with the agreed annual sales targets of the business plan
- Work with the Risk Management team's analytics that enable us to deliver innovative products to our customers in our identified segments and across business units
- Support in the planning and implementation of workshops & conferences
- Creation of presentations, reports and other documents
- Support with administration (e.g. filing) in cooperation with the back office team
- General office activities and support with travel and appointment organization in cooperation with the company organization
- Organization of web calls if required
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in financial and actuarial mathematics; business mathematics or related courses of study
- Enthusiasm and an engaging, confident and communicative manner at all levels
- Experience and/or knowledge in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry an advantage
- Active interest in the topics of climate change, agriculture and natural hazards
- Business fluent in German and English
- Commercial and analytical skills
- Reliability and a structured way of working
- Very good IT skills in the common MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a team and independently and proactively
- High level of self-motivation and creative problem-solving skills
