HBC has appointed Dr Sebastian Friese as CFO with effect from 1 May 2023. Based in Hamburg, he will report to Hauke Martinsen, Managing Director, and will lead the finance function within the HBC Group.

In particular, his experience as Head of Group Strategy at Talanx, CFO of the largest market division Global Clients at Swiss Re and responsibility for numerous acquisition and integration projects at Munich Re Group means that he not only brings a great background to HBC, but is also very familiar with all facets of our industry. His strong expertise and extensive experience are an ideal addition to our team and will thus directly contribute to the further expansion of our business.”
